Spigot end cap for permanent sealing of large-diameter PE pipe ends via butt-fusion welding.
Kimplas manufactures Electrofusion fittings and Spigot End Caps of sizes 20 to 125 mm. Spigot & EF End Caps of diameters larger than 125 mm are sourced from well-known and reputed European sources and are guaranteed by Kimplas. Outsourced Spigot End Caps supplied by Kimplas are manufactured in PE100 (Black) grade and are Standard SOR 11 / SOR 17.6 rated. They are suitable for welding SOR 9 through SOR 21 or PN 6 through PN 16 pipes. For exact recommendationon compatibility for welding, refer to Kimplas Technical Specifications Manual.
Spigot End Caps fittings are suitable for permanently closing PE80 and PE100 pipe ends, both in straight as well as coil form. The spigot ends can be used with Electrofusion fittings or can be butt-fused with pipes.
